  1. These Terms and Conditions include any instructions set out in the Lot table and bidding page. By entering the auction the bidder will be deemed to have read and understood these Terrms and Conditions and to be bound by them
  2. You are welcome to bid on any item listed on the Big Swig on-line Silent Auction page
  3. Minimum starting bid as stated in the Lot listing
  4. Bids must be in increments of 50p. You may bid as many times as you like and for any number of items.
  5. You will be able to bid by visiting the link in the "Place Bid Now" column on the Lot listings
  6. You may bid up to the time and date stated on the auction page
  7. You may only bid via the specified bidding page, no other means of bidding will be accepted or entered
  8. You may bid any number of times. When the bidding is closed your highest bid will be deemed your final bid. Bids at the same time for the same amount will go to the first bidder.
  9. Any bid which does not comply with the rules may be deemed invalid on the sole discretion of the Forum Administrator. The Childminding Forum reserve the right to accept or reject any bid. The Childminding Forum Administrator's decision is final
  10. The winning bidder will be notified by 14th November 2009
  11. Upon notification of a successful bid, bidders are required to make payment in full, by the agreed method, within the agreed time scale
  12. By bidding in this on-line silent auction you agree for your email address and details to be shared with the Lot donator for the item to be sent to you should you be the winning bidder
  13. In the event that no such payment has been received by the time stated in your winning notification email/Private Message the Childminding Forum reserves the right to offer the Lot to an alternative bidder. No liability is accepted for non delivery of email/Private Message which results in the loss of a Lot.
  14. No cash alternative or alternative prize is available
  15. All Lots have been made and accepted in good faith and have been described from the information supplied by the Donator, the Childminding Forum cannot accept liability for incorrect information
  16. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make all the arrangements to take up their purchase with the prize donator
  17. Lots for this auction have all been generously given by their proprietors for the benefit of the Big Swig. They may not be resold or awarded as prizes for competitions without the permission of the donator or of the Childminding Forum.
  18. No money needs to be sent now. Successful bidders will be notified byt the date specified. Lots can be paid for by direct payment to the Just Giving Big Swig page provided it is by prior arrangement to ensure the correct Lot goes to the correct bidder. Alternatively payment can be made by PayPal direct to the Childminding Forum, payments will then be sent to the Just Giving Big Swig page as 'donations raised off line'.
  19. The Childminding Forum accepts no responsibility for the acts or defaults of the Lot donator. By entering the auction, you indemnify the Childminding Forum and its owners against all costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis), claims, awards, demands, judgments, damages, proceedings, and any other liability whatsoever, wholly or partly arising directly or indirectly in connection with the auction or lot.
